External Exam Contingency Day 2020
External Exams Contingency Day will be up to and including Wednesday 24 June 2020
During the spring term students will be sent individual timetables which will highlight when their final exam will take place. Exams usually run from early May until the end of June for ‘A’ level exams.
The contingency day has been arranged for the rescheduling of any exam that might be postponed following local or national disruption to examinations.
We are asking all parents and carers to make a note of the new reserve exam date. Students must be available and able to come into school up to and including 24th June 2020 in order to sit any exam postponed during the exam schedule.
We know it is common for families to book holidays in June and July for when students have finished their exams. However, it is imperative that this date is protected as it will be devastating for a student to miss out on a good grade after working hard for two years because they might be absent from a rearranged final exam.
