To help us develop our communication with parents in a way that will be more environmentally friendly and more cost effective, we are pleased to advise you that we have introduced a new service called ‘School Gateway’.
What is the School Gateway?
School Gateway is a parental portal (smartphone app and website) where you can access the information we currently hold for your child. This includes your contact details as well as the school reports, timetables, achievements and behaviour information for this academic year.
Communication
Quick and cost effective communication with parents, receive instant messages (school emails and texts) and send messages to the school.
Reports
Receive school reports straight to your phone so you stay up to date with your child’s progress. Reports will be available to view on the app, after they have been emailed to parents.
Achievements
Be notified of achievement points received and see the total number of these. Students will receive certificates for these when they reach the following:
120 points for Bronze
150 points for Silver
200 points for Gold
250 points for Diamond
300 points for Platinum
Behaviour
Be notified about behaviour in the following areas:
| Homework not handed in | Late for Lesson | No PE Kit |
| Phone Confiscated | Uniform Card issued |
Behaviour Points will show if they receive one of these.

search for ‘School Gateway’ in the Apple App Store/Google Play
Step 1: Register using the same email address and mobile number held by the school.
Step 2: School Gateway will send you a text with your PIN
Step 3: Login and you are ready to go.
We are encouraging parents to download the app, as it allows parents to receive messages from the school and reply to those messages free of charge. You will be able to store and receive messages all in one place.
